I Know, it's about damn time......
Sorry all, I had to take a break from being on the web all the time. I am back now and with a vengence, Ha ha ha.

So I have some decent ideas to write about this weekend and can't wait to get started. However, it is going to have to wait till then because I am working my ass off all week and when I get home I am beat.

I can let you all know that I am recently relocated once again. This time to the midwest and working with a bunch of new people so I have been busy as hell.

Untill this weekend when I can return.

Any one for a sand castle
Ladies and Gentlemen of the blogosphere,

Well first off let me say I am sorry for taking the year off. I was spending quality time at home with family. Not something I get to do too much of these days.

However, I am back in the sandbox for another year of tears, sweat, laughter, blood and pain. Hopefully more of the sweat and laughter than anything else but we will see yes.

Those of you who have never visited my page here is a brief playback. This will be my third rotation in as many countries. Again I only post when I am deployed because my home life just isn't that important. Feel free to read thru my archived posts to catch up on any topics although most are random at best.

Any how, I am only 3 weeks into this one so I am just getting settled into my battle rythm and don't have much to post at the moment but that will change soon I am sure.

So until then,
Keep your boots up, helmet down, and I will see you when I return.

Today is well hum drum to say the least
I have absolutely no motivation today. I am not sure why but it has just been a hum drum kind mood all morning. I did however get to catch up on some more blogs out there and have found a few new ones I plan on keeping up with.

Anyhow, I was up this morning at about 4am (couldn't sleep) and decided to Cruz some blogs and go into a chat room. I entered a military chat room on Yahoo and to my surprise, there were actual people in there chatting, lol. We had some great conversations about everyday life when this Fanatical Jack Ass came into the room. Now normally I am a very tolerant person. I believe everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions but why on earth would you go into a room clearly titled "Military" and the flip out when you find out that most of the people in it are well, how do I say this, IN THE MILITARY. Hello moron, anyone home upstairs. Now that alone is not bad enough, this Pole Smoker decided to make it his own personal mission to try and convert the room full of Soldiers and Soldiers family members into anti-government faggots. This guy starts running his Cock Holster about how the Government is sending Soldiers to die so that they can get more money for themselves. Now if you honestly believe that this war is all about making money for the rich and polititions, You really need to pull your head out of your Fourth Point of Contact. It has only been 6 years since the devastating attacks on our own soil, How could you possibly have forgotten so soon why these men and women are really there. We all made our choice to defend this country against all enemies, It was a conscience decision. I understand that you are a Fanatical Chiken Shit that would wrather run to Canada than protect your own family and I am OK with your decision to do so. I am even OK with your idealistic dreams of a totally chaotic anarchy. Not to mention I am OK with the fact that you want to stand on corners at the entrance to VA and other Military hospitals chanting and screaming hurtful things to the wounded Soldiers and their family members. Hell, you get to do those things because those Soldiers made their choice to defend your family and beliefs for you. So go ahead and tuck your tail between your legs, Run off to some other country to hide, Oh and don't forget to relinquish your American Citizenship, because most of us really don't want you back.

What I am not OK with, is the fact that you actually think you can do better. Hell if you could, then why are you not a politition pushing new laws and such??

Do I believe our Government is perfect, Hell no, but it is still the best one in the world. Their will always be thieves and snakes with their own agendas in Politics, That is just human nature. That is one of the reasons that we have so many Politics to begin with, to keep eachother in check. We will never have a perfect Government, Dream all you want but it is impossible. The only thing we can do is "Try to Improve" on what we have and hope for the best. It always has been and always will be "Trial and Error" The thing that makes it work is our belief in it and our resolve to make it work one way or another, not to mention our will to FIGHT for those beliefs and convictions.

I guess I just needed to get this off my chest from this morning.

All I have to say in closing is,

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THIS COUNTRY AND THE WAY IT IS RUN THEN GET THE FUCK OUT!!

In America any boy may become President and I suppose it's just one of the risks he takes.

Adlai E. Stevenson Jr. (1900 - 1965), Speech in Indianapolis, 26 Sept. 195

The Army has carried the American ... ideal to its logical conclusion. Not only do they prohibit discrimination on the grounds of race, creed and color, but also on ability.

Tom Lehrer (1928 - )

A citizen of America will cross the ocean to fight for democracy, but won't cross the street to vote in a national election.

A New Site I Found
Here is a great new site I found, it is a Marine Vet who is also a great artist. He has been puting together a bunch of his own work as a tribute to the time he spent in Iraq and to all the wounded soldiers. you just have to check this site out.

Fire and Ice.

please check this out. You won't regret it.
Not to sound redundant but,
Here is the deal, I know I have not been online in a while updating my site but I came on today to post a couple things and to check some of the other sites I try to keep up with. This site always gets me where it counts, Honor The Fallen. Please check out the site, send a donation if you can, and there are some great songs and videos on there honoring the fallen and still fighting soldiers of yesteryear and today.

Please visit the site and say a prayer tonight for the fighting men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces
Just an E-Mail I recieved today
Here is an email I recieved today and thought to myself, WTF I should post this. You see, being deployed I have seen this personaly from a couple of big companies so it is prety easy for me to believe that this is true.

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money-power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

VACATION ANYONE
Who works on their vacation? I mean realy!

Ok, due to my deployments, and generaly just not having the time to take off of work due to exccessive work loads now that I am back, I ended up with 115 days of vacation.

Thats right, 115 Days.

Now, at the end of the fiscal year, Oct 1, The Army takes all your leave back except for 60 days. Any thing over 60 is Use or Loose. Simple, either take leave or loose it on the roll over.

Anyway, yesterday morning I go into work and ask the Firts Sergeant when is the soonest I can sign out and take some time off. He tells me, right now! Takes me inside and has me fill out the proper forms for leave and thats that, 30 whole days off.

This all took place about 0700, about 1000 hrs my commander calls me at home. He proceeds to tell me that he wants me to relax and enjoy my time off. BUT,, I need to come in to the office first thing in the morning. Oh yeah, enjoy your time off by comming into work.

Not quite sure how that is supposed to work!!

Thats not too bad, I don't mind going in and finishing up one of the cases I am working on. What realy gets me is I am supposed to be on vacation and they want me to come in not just first thing in the morning, but a couple days a week to continue working. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!

Obviously, some one needs to look up "Vacation" in the dictionary.

The Lion

No man needs a vacation so much as the man who has just had one.

Elbert Hubbard (1856 - 1915)

Vacation used to be a luxury, however, in today's world, it has become a necessity.
